Juliette Kaplan
Marlene Juliette Kaplan was a British actress, whose married name was Marlene Hoser. She was most famous for playing the role of battle-axe Pearl Sibshaw in the BBC comedy Last of the Summer Wine, from 1985 to 2010. Kaplan was born in Bournemouth, to Jewish parents and spent her early years in South Africa. Juliette passed away on 10th October 2019 after a battle with cancer shortly after celebrating her 80th birthday
