This prodution hit the press after some audience members accused the production of having too much inuendo and featuring too many 'dick' jokes - this seemd to divide opinion with many...including ourselves saying it's all part of the panto tradition and meant to be taken in that way without causing offense.

This production was rocked by scandal as police were called to the venue part way through the run and it's lead star Tina Malone was arrested for being in possession of cocaine. She was promptly fired and replaced on stage for the rest of the run by the shows Director. It was reported that theatre staff had raised initial concerns over Malone's behaviour

This production was plagued by issues including initial performances being cancelled 'due to technical issues' and then it's lead star Denise Welch suddenly quit before the show opened as she was unhappy with several aspects of the production including Health and Safety aspects and pay. The final 2 performances of the production were also cancelled with patrons turning up only to find a notice on doors.
