Dave Benson Phillips was born on the 3rd February 1965 and to many is the face of children's TV. Many remember him on Playhouse Disney, Fun Song Factory and the hit CBBC game show Get Your Own Back. In 1999, GET YOUR OWN BACK was nominated for a BAFTA. Dave has also been spotted in SOOTY, DICK AND DOM IN DA BUNGALOW and A CBEEBIES CHRISTMAS CAROL. As well as being in the view star of children's TV Dave Benson Phillips has also lent his voice to many children's shows including being the Narrator for Roald Dahls – The Enormous Crocodile and other characters within the FUN SONG FACTORY,

You may think that that's enough for anyone but no, Dave Benson Phillips continued entertaining throughout the festive season with him appearing in plenty of pantomimes over the years. In more resent times Dave presented the 2025 PANTOMIME AWARDS.

Did you know that DAVE BENSON-PHILLIPS is one of the few children's TV presenters to have shows on

THE DISNEY CHANNLE,

CBBC and CITV!

What can I say about Dave Benson-Phillips - probably the same as anyone my age a

childhood hero. Without knowing it this man mad me and many other want to get through the

school day just so we could rush home and watch him on GET YOUR OWN BACK.

I first re-call seeing Dave on TV in the FUN SONG FACTORY with another kids tv legend JUSTIN.

However it was clear from every show (since first seeing him) that this was a funny and wonderful

man. I had the pleasure of seeing Dave live at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016 with his own GET YOUR OWN BACK SHOW. I met him on the golden mile and he was a very pleasant man spending his own time with myself and other fellow cast members. I've also heard nothing but praise about this man within the showbiz and panto world. I can confirm this once again when we at PANTO ARCHIVE met him at the PANTOMIME 2025 AWARDS. A very kind and pleasant (and funny man).
