Jamie Leahey is one of the UK’s newest ventriloquist acts. His act combines his newly found talent of ventriloquism and his love of old school comedy. In 2022 Jamie finished Runner-Up in the final of Britain’s Got Talent, amazing the judges and receiving a standing ovation after each of his performances at the London Palladium and the Hammersmith Apollo. Since then Jamie (and Chuck) has travelled across the country and all over the world with his act. In 2025 they both performed at the PANTOMIME AWARD. Jamie has already become a firm panto favourite and we can't wait to follow the rest of his journey in years to come.

SPOTLIGHT FACT

Jamie Leahey is a ventriloquist who placed Runner-Up during Series 15 of BGT.

He was just 13

at the time.

Many years ago (so it feels now) I remember coming back from working at the Alton Towers

Resort to watch BGT and seeing a young lad on the TV performing a near perfect act for the

whole country to enjoy. I like many people were routing for this young man to win that series...

Alas he didn't but that hasn't stopped him from becoming a star across the world and he's now

taking the panto world by storm!

I remember reaching out to Jamie as one of our first CUPPA CHAT stars and instantly it became obvious he was a great person to chat with (and not forgetting Chuck). Over the years myself and Jamie have linked up a few times and met up at panto awards etc - it's been wonderful seeing him grow as a performer and at the same time seeing him grow into a kind young man and a friend.

I would personally like to thank Jamie for helping us so much at the PANTO ARCHIVE and long may he continue to grow and grow on stage!

Jamie Leahey… I remember seeing him on BGT and thinking what a fantastic act he was,

with such an incredible stage presence for such a young whippersnapper.

As I knew he would, he went on to do brilliantly on the show and, of course, moved straight

into panto and variety shows. I first worked with Jamie a few years ago, and he was an absolute

pleasure to work with — a true professional and a top-notch guy. There are always plenty of laughs

when Jamie’s around. He’s got a long career ahead of him, and I wish him nothing but the success he truly deserves!! Every venue that has him for panto is lucky to have him.
